Bison Creek Ranch has its own private herd of wild American Bison, donkeys, mules, and horses that roam freely throughout the ranch. During the time of our Great California Gold Rush, the American Bison roamed from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean and were over 200 million strong. The ranch offers an education in the history and significance of our American Bison and the Great California Gold Rush of 1849.
